I offer a fantastic Weight Loss program called Metabolic Balance®. It will also balance your hormones to get your metabolism to an optimal state. If you require weight gain this program can also help !

This 12 week program balances hormones, stabilises insulin levels by using food (nutrition), optimises your metabolism, reducing inflammation and allows your body systems to work optimally, allowing you to feel healthier with more bounce !

A scientifically proven Nutrition Program that uses your personal “body chemistry” (from your blood tests) with the right “food chemistry” from foods, to re-balance your body systems to provide a stable environment, which allows your body to make the necessary hormones, neurotransmitters and enzymes for optimal health. If you are overweight, it will allow you to release weight and if you are underweight it will allow you to increase your weight, but only to the weight you should naturally be.

Before beginning Metabolic Balance®, we run through a full initial consult, obtaining your complete health history, then a thorough range of blood tests which is like your blue-print. These blood results can show Metabolic Balance® exactly which foods you need to eat and which foods that you should not eat, in order to correct imbalances in hormones, digestion, bowels and even neurological ailments. Once these disruptive states are corrected the body can then go on and heal other areas, such as muscles or skin. One of the biggest secrets the pharmaceutical industry has been determined to squash is that your body has an incredible ability to heal. You will be surprised !

These personal blood results are entered into the Metabolic Balance® program, which then generates a very individualised Nutrition Plan just for you. I support, teach, guide, encourage, and motivate you along the road to reaching your goal.

Metabolic Balance® re-sets your metabolism and hormone levels, particularly insulin, in order to enable your body to reach its natural weight or “Set Point”. It is a program that gives you your personal Nutrition guide for Life. No more Dieting !

The Metabolic Balance® program was developed by Dr Wolf Funfack M.D. in Germany in 2001, who is a physician that specialises in nutritional medicine. He provided 25 years of clinical research, his scientific studies and the special analysis techniques used in the generation of a personal nutrition plan. He worked with his wife, Birgit Funfack (a qualified Naturopath) and Birgit’s sister, Silvia Birkle (Food Technologist), to develop this very successful way of eating fresh food to improve the health of the world ! Food is definitely a medicine that can change the composition and workings of your body so you can get your Life back and feel young again !

The program creates stable insulin levels through a healthy diet, allowing you to feel satisfied after meals, while balancing your body’s metabolism and reducing inflammation.

Before you start the Metabolic Balance® program, a blood test is required, which shows the specific foods that are best suited to your personal biochemistry and this determines your eating plan.

There are 8 very Important rules that must be followed, which allows the body to prepare and enable the processes of hormonal change so that you can release the fat cells and some toxins. These rules will be discussed at your first Metabolic Balance® appointment. Tea and Coffee are allowed with your meals but must be taken black (no milk). Alcohol is definitely off the table for the first three weeks and then only once a week with a “Cheat Meal” and better to keep it to only one glass.

There are 4 Phases (Stages) to the Metabolic Balance® program. Each stage is carefully designed to move your body through the processes of change, to allow effective fat burning to happen during your sleep. No exercise is required - in fact we ask that you do not do any exercise at all during the first 16 days.

Phase 1. This phase begins the process of detoxification and elimination and is key in preparing your metabolism for the next phase.

Phase 2. For the first two weeks, you must only eat the foods specified on your personal nutrition plan.
After this, in Phase 3, healthy oil will be re-introduced to your diet alongside the occasional ‘treat’ meal, where you can enjoy whatever you like.

Phase 3. Additional foods will be added to your food list.

Phase 4. On the basis of your knowledge, and experience with the previous three phases, you can now experiment for yourself and get to know which foods are right for you. Now you can begin to slowly ease yourself away from the Phase 2 strict plan, whilst still following the nutrition advice you have learned during the programme. It is crucial to listen and follow the advice of your Metabolic Balance® Coach and ask them questions to help you navigate through the program.

Remember that I am a Mobile Clinic - meaning I come to you and sit down together in your home, so the Initial consult is $160 (AU) and will take 1 and a 1/2 hours, during which time I will take your health history, lifestyle and diet. We can address your main reason for wanting to join the Metabolic Balance® program to make sure it is the right “fit” for you. We may find that some issues should be addressed prior to joining the Metabolic Balance® Program.

After your first Initial consultation, if you decide to join Metabolic Balance® program and I agree it is the right program for you we can discuss how to pay.

CHARGES and PAYMENTS (including Prepay options)

* Payments through Direct Debit or Cash.

Initial Consultation $160 (90 minutes) (at your place as I am a Mobile clinic).

  • Comprehensive health assessment, health history, family health history, previous pathology results, current diet (minimum of three days recorded is required - if working full time, not your days off) and lifestyle. Pathology request ordered for Metabolic Balance® Program - and payment (ranges from approx. $175 to $250)

Total for Three month Metabolic Balance® Program

$1,199 for the entire program (including 7 consultations in total over three months).

A Three Part Payment plan is available

  • Split Payment Fee $50 (due to extra paperwork)

  • First payment is half of the total cost of the plan, includes your Personal Plan generation and your first Initial Metabolic Balance® Consultation $599.00 (90 minutes).

  • There are two further payments of $300.00 both of which are due at the following third and fifth consultations.

OR you can Prepay - make regular payments of $100 for 12 weeks or $200 each week (6 weeks) or fortnight (12 weeks) until you have paid the total $1199.

Your First Metabolic Balance® appointment (approx. 60 minutes). I take your measurements, height, weight, photos, paperwork, discuss your goals and talk you through your personal Metabolic Balance plan and give you the first part of the plan (Phase 1 and 2), along with how to implement the plan with lots of hints and tips to help your manage. I will support you the whole way through by providing a further 6 consultations regularly at your home (as I am a mobile clinic) over the next three months.

Your Second Metabolic Balance® appointment (30 minutes) is 7 to 10 days after you have commenced your plan, where I check how you are going and answer your most pressing questions. I take your measurements again and weight. Reminders and tips.

Your Third Metabolic Balance® appointment (30 minutes) usually 10 to 12 days after second appointment. I take your measurements again and weight. Phase 3 of the plan is given if you have reached (or are close) to your goal.

All other appointments (remaining 4 appointments) are scheduled within the three month window. This is so that you will achieve the results you want in a safe and easily reachable time frame. I would advise keeping to this schedule if you want to feel better, as those who stretch out the time usually do not find the same motivation and hence the same results.

Please note Time Limit: if all 7 consultations have not been used within a year (allowances will be made for those who are unable to attend due to emergency or sickness), then remaining consults become invalid after one year.

Another alternative to make this program affordable is that you can pay off the program before you use it.

I believe that food (and water) is the most important tool that we have to manage our health. “Food is Medicine” a famous quote from Hippocrates, a very intelligent greek physician from 300 BC is as true today as it was then. My hope is to show that we can eat delicious meals and avoid the so called foods that the manufacturers advertise as “healthy”. I educate and empower you to become food savvy (savvy = shrewdness and practical knowledge; the ability to make good judgements), and avoid the environmental and lifestyle habits that can reduce the status of your health.

Being Mobile allows me to come to your home at a perfect time to suit you. Simply book in for the time you want me to arrive for your consultation. I am based in Douglas Park, NSW, Australia and am able to travel throughout the South West Sydney region from Liverpool to Bowral.

I am dedicated to finding the connections for your health conditions so we may unravel the mysteries and piece the puzzle together.

I have been to many homes over the years as I used to work as a competent market research consultant. There is not much that I haven’t seen ! So please don’t feel intimidated by me coming to see you in your home. I find the best outcome is created in a relaxed environment.

What happens in a consultation ?

Prior to your first consultation I will email you a form that you can print and fill out with some of your health information and then email back to me at least three days prior to your appointment. This will help streamline the first consultation and will give us more time to discuss your goals and expectations.

At your first consultation in the comfort and convenience of your home, I ask about your health goals, full health history, blood tests, medications, supplements, your family’s health history, lifestyle, diet, stress levels, past trauma/events and the reason you started seeking more information to improve your health (aka - why did you make an appointment). This takes approximately 90 minutes. I may have some advice straight away of things you can do, such as changing what you eat, reducing stress or ask you to have some testing done to help give a clearer picture.

I will then go home to spend a further 2 - 6 hours to research and go through up to date current research and textbooks to find the best solution which is delivered at a follow up consultation, usually two weeks later, along with the results of any testing.

Ultimately it is up to you whether you are happy to try my suggestions so it is important to let me know if you think my suggestions may be difficult to achieve, so that we may work together to find solutions.

Improved Health is achievable!

Water: Vital for life. Drinking enough water can help you burn fat and increase your energy levels. It is recommended you drink 3.7 liters (15 cups) for the average adult male and 2.7 liters (11 cups) for the average adult female.

Food: I can show you which foods you should eat more of, and which foods to reduce. Blueberries are a fruit to eat more regularly as they are full of Antioxidants. The Metabolic Balance® Program shows you which foods match to your pathology results, adjusting your hormones and balancing your metabolism.

Stress Relief: Avoid or minimise stress. It’s important to find things to do that you enjoy. If you are relaxed your body can do it’s job of healing/maintaining your health. I can suggest some techniques that will help you relax.
